What is "The Cousin Adventures" series?

These exciting stories follow the travels of three cousins to real historical sites where they solve suspenseful mysteries.

Books from “The Cousin Adventures” are suitable for readers of all ages, including adults. Though this is a series, the books do not build on each other and can be read out of sequence.

The Mystery of the Sabotaged Dig
While traveling through upstate New York, ten-year-old Jen Armstrong and her cousins eight-year-old Mikey and ten-year-old Jason decide to visit Fort William Henry where the cousins quickly stumble across a mystery. It appears that someone does not want the college students who are working on an archeology dig to uncover any artifacts. One of the people involved in the dig may be responsible for the sabotage. As the cousins learn about the fort’s history, they must attempt to find out who is responsible for the problems with the dig and why. Finally, they must come up with a plan to trap the guilty person.

Trouble at Buckman Tavern
The Armstrong Cousins, ten-year-old Jen and Jason and eight-year-old Mikey, are excited to visit Lexington, Massachusetts – the place where the first shot of the American Revolution was fired. With their new friend Lindsey, the cousins learn about the beginning of the Revolution as they tour the Battle Green and historical buildings. But lately, there have been problems with one of the historical buildings – too many problems to be a coincidence. The cousins take on the case, but the person responsible for the problems will let nothing or no one stand in the way.

Theft on the Freedom Trail
Cousins Jen, Jason, and Mikey Armstrong  are thrilled to learn about  the American Revolution as they walk the 2.5 mile Freedom Trail that visits historical sights in Boston, Massachusetts. They are especially excited to be walking the trail  with a special interest history class, led by Henry Armstrong’s old professor, Dr. Owen. When the professor and a few other members of the class are robbed, the cousins realize that one of the suspicious-acting people in the group is a thief. Can Jen, Jason, and Mikey solve the mystery and catch the thief before the end of the day?
